Orangalf the wise

I came across this wonderful picture today,

I had to post it in deference to the sage like and always balanced Oranjepan who comments on this blog from time to time, although I fear he may be suffering from theological fatigue as evidenced by a comment he made recently over at Elizabeth's blog

OP I promise not to mention religion any more (...in this post) ;-)

I hate to tell you Steve, but that's a pic of Oranjepan's sister. I saw her at John Lewis the other day when I was at the Oracle Centre.

She was buying cosmetics...didn't want to tell her not to bother.

E, Oh come off it, just look at those finger nails, he'd go ape if he heard you saying that!!

My sisters can look after themselves thank you very much - especially the elder one who has an oranje belt in Borneo martial arts.

Yeah, I guess fatigue does set in eventually, but I've been climbing mountains and am back now. The theory can get a bit dry after a while so I'm glad that you turned your attention back to how these things affect the real world.

Marvellous photo btw but I think I shallnt post my mental images of anyone else... just as a precaution.

Hi OP,

"Climbing mountains" - I'm getting jealous; please elaborate (or do you mean metaphorically?)

Well normally it's just the walls in my bunker when I'm not in the trees, but for my hols I try to do a bit of fell walking and find a bit of cloud which I can climb into. Scotland is plenty exotic for me - especially with my fair skin...

I'm always amazed with freeclimbers, but the scariest I make do with is a steep scree. I've always had an urge to try base-jumping after having been sky-diving, but that's just too ridiculous!

Let me guess - white-water kayaking would be your choices of extreme sports (maybe with less white-water and more white wine)?

op, sounds relaxing, I've never explored scotland I hear it can be fab (with the right weather) Youre not quite there with water sports for me, paragliding was the love of my life but the kids put paid to that! I did some rock climbing in the 90s too, not too serious but wow what a feeling! I must do a post on it sometime, you have given me an idea for one.
