Stuff people believe
If you must to have faith, then have faith in evidence and reason.
CB, I think I might be less of a Euro-sceptic than you; I actually think the Euro is a good idea but not for reasons of closer cultural integration (vive la difference etc.!) I am concerned about competition with a future American trading block and a more unified Asian trading block centred around China; if Europe is 25 separate fiscal entities then we will undoubtedly be at a disadvantage.
